The Shores Post-Acute

The Shores Post-Acute, a skilled-nursing facility in San Diego, California, partnered with U.S. Mobile Kitchens for support during a 12-month kitchen renovation that required a mobile setup to provide 800 meals per day. The temporary foodservice complex included:

48' Mobile Kitchen Trailer
53' Mobile Dishwashing Trailer
53' Mobile Prep Trailer
Walk-in Cold Storage
Dry Storage
Ramps and Decking
Two 100KW Diesel Generators
All Electrical Distribution and Fuel Service
Propane Fuel Service

All units were leveled and secured with seismic tie-downs per engineered plan.

This temporary complex was inspected and approved by the following agencies:

CDPH (California Dept of Public Health)
OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development)
San Diego County Public Health
SDCFA (San Diego County Fire Authority)

"I was asked to manage a project to completely redo our country club’s 50 year old kitchen.
