The Law Enforcement Detention Center (LEDC) in Winston Salem, N.C. was in need of a large temporary kitchen to serve over 3,200 meals per day due to a renovation that had to take place in their existing kitchen. To meet their requirements, U.S. Mobile Kitchens provided three 48’ mobile kitchen trailers customized with the exact equipment that the facility had in their existing kitchen. All of the trailers are interconnected and leveled to meet the dock height. U.S. Mobile Kitchens also coordinated all of the utility connections and permits to make the project a turn-key and seamless operation for the staff at the detention center.
